Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026
Template pending final review by legal counsel before public launch.

This Policy explains how Porchlead, operated by Alpha Marketing Group, handles personal information for two groups: (a) contractors who hold accounts, and (b) homeowners whose public service requests appear on the platform.

1. Contractor account information

When you create an account we collect your business name, email, phone, password (hashed), and your billing activity. We use it to operate your account, process payments, send you service and lead notifications, and provide support. We do not sell contractor account data.

2. Homeowner (lead) information

Porchlead aggregates home-service requests that homeowners post publicly on community platforms, and matches them against publicly available property and contact-record sources. Lead information may include a name, neighborhood, the text of the public request, approximate property details, and — once a contractor unlocks a lead — contact details such as a phone number, email, or address drawn from public/commercial records.

We provide this information to a single purchasing contractor so they can respond to the homeowner's own request. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

3. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA) — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and how it is used and disclosed.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

"Sale" disclosure. Because Porchlead provides homeowner contact information to contractors for compensation, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA. The categories we may sell/share are identifiers (name, contact details) and, where available, property/real-estate information. We do not sell the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16.

How to opt out or submit a request. To opt out of the sale/sharing of your information, or to make a know/delete/correct request, email alphamarketinggroup916@gmail.com with the subject line "CCPA Request" and tell us which right you are exercising. We will verify and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent. Once we receive an opt-out or deletion request for a homeowner, we suppress that person from future lead distribution.

4. How we share information

  • With the single contractor who unlocks a given lead.
  • With service providers who help us operate (payment processing, hosting, data/skip-trace vendors, email/SMS delivery), under contract and only as needed.
  • When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and safety.

5. Data retention & security

We retain lead data only while it is useful (fresh requests age out within days) and account data for as long as your account is active plus any period required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including hashed passwords and encrypted transport. No system is perfectly secure.

6. Cookies

We use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use it for cross-site advertising.

7. Changes & contact

We may update this Policy; material changes are posted here with a new date. Contact us at alphamarketinggroup916@gmail.com.
